This demand has created employment opportunities for older people, many of whom already have some experience in these occupations. Recent hiring companies include iTutor, which helps students prepare for college entrance exams. Like many employers in the online tutoring industry, iTutor offers training to the workers it hires.

If you have experience leading large projects from concept to completion, there are many companies that may be willing to hire you even if the job posting calls for a college degree. The digital marketing firm Counterintuity was recently looking for a project manager capable of working remotely. The same was true for the National Older Worker Career Center.

In these jobs, you take responsibility for a company’s interactions with people through its official accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms. You will need experience in producing messages that are engaging, but also reflect the voice and values of your employer.

If you have a knack for helping coworkers solve problems with laptops or other office technology, this job might interest you. Experience in troubleshooting with networking technologies is generally a requirement for these positions.
